Morning Out for Moms Program – Winter/Spring 2013 information below
Morning Out for Moms (MOMs) is a ministry of Forest Grove Community Church that provides moms of young children with a weekly morning out and an opportunity to connect with other moms.
We invite you to join us Tuesday mornings to relax, drink some coffee, eat breakfast, and enjoy some time being encouraged and inspired in your role as a mom and woman. You will get the morning to “re-fuel” while your children are cared for in a safe and loving atmosphere by excellent volunteers.
Each semester runs for 10 weeks and includes various speakers and features related to being a mom. Because we provide childcare, the program is by registration only and is limited to the amount of childcare spots we have available.
2013 Winter/Spring Semester
Dates: February 5 – April 23 (No MOMs on February 19 and over Easter)
Times: Tuesdays from 9:15-11:15 a.m.
Cost: $50
Theme: Motherhood Adventures – Finding Yourself in the Daily Adventure of Motherhood
Mothering is an adventure…
From diaper changes and potty training to car pools and soccer games, a mom’s life is full of adventures with her children. But it’s not only about the kids.
Mothering is also an adventure in personal growth.
Throughout the upcoming semester you will be encouraged to take a fresh look at who you are and how you can grow in the midst of the mothering process.
Each week we will consider issues that every mom can relate to…
- Reclaiming your identity as a woman
- Remembering your own personal growth
- Cultivating meaningful adult relationships
- Asking for help when you need it
- Gaining perspective on the everyday demands of motherhood
- Keeping hope alive
General Information
Brochures are available. They were sent to all MOMs registrants from the 2012 Fall Semester. Please check your mailbox.
On-line brochures/registration forms can be downloaded by clicking HERE. Hard-copy brochures will also be available at the Forest Grove Community Church office (Attridge Location).
Registrations will be received at the church office from Wednesday, January 9 to Wednesday, January 23, and will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Please note that the church office is closed on Mondays so registrations will not be received on that day. Please have exact payment included with your registration as the office staff is not prepared to give change.
