GroveMOMs is a ministry of Forest Grove Community Church that provides moms of young children with a weekly morning out and an opportunity to connect with other moms. We exist to support moms in community by providing refreshment, encouragement, and the hope that is found in Jesus.

No MOMs April 22, 2025
We invite you to join us on Tuesday mornings to enjoy some time being encouraged and inspired in your role as a young mom and woman.
For all of the information you need, please read the following carefully.
DETAILS:
WHO – Moms of young children (Kindergarten and younger)
WHAT – A morning of coming together in community to receive refreshment, encouragement and the hope that is found in Jesus.
WHERE – Forest Grove Community Church
TIME – Every Tuesday morning, 9:15-11:15am – snack is served each morning with tea and coffee provided.
DATES – February 25 – May 6, 2025 (no MOMs April 22nd)
COST – $70 for the semester
REGISTRATION DATE – February 3rd at 7am sharp! These spots fill quickly, so be sure to register early.
CHILDCARE:
Childcare is provided for you each morning for your children aged 4 months and over. Young babies will remain in the lounge with you each morning.
PAYMENT:
Payment will be required to complete registration.

Hello! My name is Becky Neufeld and I have been married to my husband, Evan for 8 years. We have 2 daughters – Poppy is 4 and Millie is 2. We enjoy travelling, camping, and just being together with family and friends. I have been attending GroveMoms for 4 years now and this is my fourth year on the leadership team. I have loved getting to know other moms and being able to have open and honest conversations about the wonders and challenges that come with motherhood. Being able to enjoy rest, renewal, and encouragement on Tuesday mornings has been so life-giving since becoming a mom!

Hey! My name is Orisha and I have been married to my husband, Steven for 13 years. We have a son, Woodson, and a daughter, Renn. When I’m not on maternity leave I work as a registered nurse in ICU and emerg. I have been a part of the Grove Moms team for several years now and through it have found a supportive community and many amazing friendships. I am very excited to learn what God has in store for us this semester!

Hello! My name is Janelle Penner! My Husband Steve and I have been married for 10 years and have been blessed with 4 wonderful kiddos!
I have attended GroveMoms for about 7 years and I absolutely love the community here. GroveMoms has made a big impact on my motherhood journey. This community has given me rest, renewal, perspective, wisdom, and so many opportunities to connect with other moms and make life long friendships! My biggest take away every year is the reminder that through this mothering journey we are never alone. GroveMoms has given me a community of ladies I can call on and connect with each week, through the good times and hard times!

Hello! My name is Lesya and I have been married to my husband, Joshua, for 13 years. We have 3 wonderful little kiddos ages 8, 5 and 1 and I’m currently a stay-at-home mom. As a family, we enjoy going for walks, getting coffee, watching Is It Cake? while having pizza and cake night. I have attended GroveMoms for about 5 years and every week when I walk out the door of the church after a GroveMoms morning, I have a smile on my face and a bit of a pep in my step. To have an opportunity to connect with other moms who know what I’m going through, be it the highs or the lows of motherhood, has been so encouraging and has blessed me so much since becoming a mom.
