GroveMOMs is a ministry of Forest Grove Community Church that provides moms of young children with a weekly morning out and an opportunity to connect with other moms. We exist to support moms in community by providing refreshment, encouragement, and the hope that is found in Jesus.

We are hoping for full childcare this semester! This will mean that childcare will be provided for you each morning for your children aged 6 months and up. Babies under 6 months will remain in the Lounge with you each morning. *if* we don’t have enough volunteers to run a full program, we will have to limit attendees based on the number of children registered. Please pay close attention to the questions on the registration regarding childcare as we have some “perks” for those who can provide their own childcare or if you can bring in a volunteer for us.
Payment is required once your enrollment has been confirmed. The number that will be able to attend will depend on the number of volunteers needed. This will be done via online payment.
Hey, I’m Vanessa Dobson. Married to Jamie for 15 years now, mom to Ethan (11), Owen (9), Finley (7), and Maggie (5). I work part time as a nurse on a surgical floor, and spend my days off running my kiddos to activities, volunteering in various church programs, and whenever possible getting out into my garden! I have been involved in the MOMs program at forest grove church for many years now and joining the leadership team has blessed me with friendships that have carried me through the days when I felt like I was in the trenches of motherhood. I am so grateful for this program and so excited to see what these next semesters will bring!!
Hello! My name is Jennifer. I have been married to my husband Landry for 14 years and we have 4 daughters: Harlyn, Suttyn, Loweyn & Everyn. We as a family love to get outside together, especially on our boat in the summers and recently some skiing in the winters. We have been attending Forest Grove Church for 8 years and I’ve been involved with Grove Moms for almost as long. Being on the leadership team with this amazing group of women has been spiritually uplifting and so rewarding as Grove Moms has been a crucial part to my growth as a mother and such a blessing to me as a community. I look forward to these fall/winter/spring semesters and what God will bring to us together.
My name is Heidi Stobbe and I’ve been married to Dallas for 15 years. We have four children: Elijah (11) Tyson (9) Everly (8) and Talia (5). We enjoy being outside together biking, exploring, playing sports and being with friends and family. I’ve been attending moms for five years now and it has brought so much life and growth to me. Living in community with other moms being open and honest about the tough and beautiful moments, has meant so much to me and I am so excited to be a part of something so great.
My name is Becky Neufeld and I have been married for 6 years to my husband, Evan. We have a 2 year old daughter, Poppy, and are expecting our second girl in September! We enjoy traveling, camping, and just being together with family and friends. I work casually as a registered nurse in addition to being at home with my daughter. I have been attending Grove Moms for two years and recently joined the leadership team in the winter semester this last year. I have loved getting to know other moms and being able to have open and honest conversations about the wonders and challenges that come with motherhood. I will be serving in the role of childcare coordinator, alongside Vanessa, and look forward to how God will be working throughout this next semester!
My name is Orisha and Steve and I have been married 11 years. Our son, Woodson, will turn two in January. I am currently working full time as a nurse in ICU. Steve works part time security at the hospital and part time stay at home dad. We share a love of travel and adventure that we hope to pass down to Woods.
Hi there, my name is Lindy! I’m married to Regan, and together we have a baby girl named Blair (1 year). I work as a nurse in Peds ICU/ ER. I volunteered at Grove moms for many years before having a child of my own, and I am so thrilled to now be attending!! The transition into becoming a mother can be filled with joy, love, frustrations, fears, laughter and tears. Being able to go through that with other moms, whether new ones or ones with more experience, is so valuable and life giving.
Though our lives and relationship may look very different from one another, we are not alone in our struggles and celebrations!
