Program Directors Role Overview:
These two roles are 12-week full-time positions running May – August, 2025 with some work flexibility with the exception of sports camp running August 18 -22. They are contingent on funding from the Canada Summer Jobs program. The Summer Program Directors will be responsible for supporting FGCC Children’s and Youth Ministry summer programs. The roles require the abilities to facilitate various midweek programs, Sunday morning children’s programming and coordinating one week of sports camp partnered with Athletes in Action.

- Personal commitment to Jesus Christ
- Fully aligned with the mission and vision of Forest Grove Community Church
- Experience working or volunteering in youth/children’s ministry
- Teachable and eager to learn and grow in ministry
- Personal initiative and ability to work independently
- Basic computer, communication, relational and administrative skills
Opportunities:
The Summer Program Directors will work under the supervision of FGCC Youth and Children’s Ministries. The successful candidates will gain valuable leadership experience through leading diverse teams of volunteers. They will also be mentored in their knowledge and understanding of Next Gen ministry programming including strategy, budgeting, and administrative systems and processes. Throughout the summer, these positions will offer both personal mentorship and job shadowing with Forest Grove Ministry Staff.

Work Schedule:
Typical workday is 9-4:30 with work hours adjusted when there is an evening program and/or Sunday morning program. A typical work week including an evening program will run from Sunday – Thursday with Friday & Saturday off. The week of Athletes in Action camp will require an adjusted work schedule as well.
