Dalmeny Bible Church is Hosting a Presentation on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) with Dr. David Guretzki, President of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada on February 11 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm, with lunch provided afterwards.
Dr Guretzki will be presenting on the Theology of the Sanctity of Life and the Pastoral/Medical Challenges Facing the Church in Canada.
Dr Guretzki has stated this is the most significant challenge the church in Canada will be facing in coming years.
This presentation is for:
1) Pastors/Church Leaders – providing awareness of challenges facing our church and community will require teaching and boundaries
2) Medical Workers – this will be of value to nurses, physicians and administrators who will have to address these issues
3) Congregants – MAiD will increasingly impact families and the individual decisions of those who face suffering
