Thank you Forest Grove Family for your prayers, love and care for me as I had my eye surgery here in Colombia earlier in Nov! We feel so supported by you and appreciate you accompanying us. The surgeon was pleased with the results and I am healing well. I will have a follow up surgery later this year. December 4-18 Outreach Trip to Choco
Einer will be travelling with 2 Wounaan leaders from Panama to the Choco region of Colombia to meet with Wounaan communities there for encouragement and to share the gospel. Pray for safe passage, open doors to gather and for the Spirit to be working among these communities. There are many struggles for the Wounaan in these areas of the jungle with presence of drug trafficking groups, often persecution for the believers, and mistrust as there have been some harmful religious cults that have come in to the areas recently. Pray for courage for the young Christian leaders who were discipled in Panama in previous years and continue to live and serve among their people in the Choco.
Projects in Panama
Pray for the church in Panama as they are engaged in several work projects this month to improve buildings at the Camp in Yaviza and the security fence around the Casa de Sembrador (formerly Juan Diaz Center) in Panama City. A youth team from another community is joining to help with the work.
They send their thanks to FGCC for funds that were given to support this work this past year and they look forward to when we can meet again together in Panama!
Pray also for the Women’s Leadership team that is organizing an outreach, travelling by river to Rio Hondo and Platanares for Dec.
