Young Marrieds

We truly appreciate the hospitality of Bruce and Lisa, their wisdom, and ability to tackle hard topics with honesty and grace. We have found the group to be a safe place to be vulnerable, where no question is a stupid question.

Below is a Story of Transformation from Jay and Katelyn Postnikoff, who have been a involved with the Young Marrieds Ministry at our Attridge Congregation.

The Young Marrieds Ministry is for those in their first years of marriage and also those who are engaged and preparing for marriage. It’s purpose is to help build Biblical foundations for marriage and provide an environment of spiritual community.

The first year of our marriage has been a blast, but not without it’s challenges. We have experienced happiness, growth, and contentment, but also difficult transitions, conversations, and decisions. Being a part of the Young Marrieds group has strengthened the Biblical foundation of our relationship and provided a unique community to support us through our first few years as a married couple.

We truly appreciate the hospitality of Bruce and Lisa, their wisdom, and ability to tackle hard topics with honesty and grace. We have found the group to be a safe place to be vulnerable, where no question is a stupid question. Each session included times of teaching, sharing, challenging, encouraging, and of course, eating. Moreover, Young Marrieds gave us the opportunity to get to know some of our fellow married couples within the church, both peers and visiting mentors.

The ministry of this group is a blessing to those it serves, and we are thankful for the ways it has impacted us.
